Cindy Ludwig attended the week-long DOGS! course on behavior modification at Purdue University this past week.  This course,  taught by board certified veterinary behaviorist, Dr. A. Luescher and RVT, Julie Shaw has been an annual tradition at Purdue for the past 12 or 13 years, but this course marks the end of the tradition.  Purdue will not be offering the course again.  The course, which was open to veterinarians, veterinary technicians and certified professional dog trainers, provided participants with hands on experience as well as classroom instruction in behavior modification in order to foster a collaborative relationship between the disciplines in the treatment of dog behavior issues such as aggression.
