Youth dog training program, first of its kind in Dubuque, Iowa.]]>Thu, 15 Mar 2012 15:11:22 -0800http://www.dubuquedogtraining.com/2/post/2012/03/enrolling-now-youth-dog-training-program-first-of-its-kind-in-dubuque-iowa.htmlAnother new and innovative program from Canine Connection! This is the positive alternative to the traditional training program offered by the 4-H. Children, ages 7-15 will learn modern, force-free dog training methods using state-of-the-art clicker training (positive reinforcement training with a marker signal) from a certified clicker trainer - this is not your average dog training class! This is the method of training used by the world's top animal trainers and the type of training recommended by veterinary behaviorists and other animal behavior experts. Children will have the opportunity to advance to the level of training they desire with their dogs, including the opportunity to compete in "obedience" competitions and lots of fun and educational activities! Call the Dubuque YMCA at (563) 556-3371 for more information or to enroll! Class size limited for quality instruction. Picture
