Ernie makes history with Canine Connection as the first puppy to earn his S.T.A.R. Puppy certification, only the second puppy in Dubuque to earn this recognition, according to the AKC.  Congratulations Ernie and owners, Jim and Linda Sorensen!

I was contacted by Dubuque Main Street for an interview, which I had this morning.  The intern who interviewed me will be writing an article to be published in the Dubuque Main Street newsletter.  Dubuque Main Street is a non-profit urban development organization with a mission of revitalizing downtown Dubuque and promoting the downtown in a positive manner. The Main Street program was formed in 1984; Dubuque was one of seven pilot cities chosen in 1985 by the National Trust's Demonstration Program for the Urban Main Street Program.
